The Lunar UK coin series is an exclusive collection of collector and investment coins in gold and silver. They are produced at the Royal Mint, the world-renowned mint in the UK. The Lunar Series UK coins are made of 99.9% pure silver or 99.99% pure gold.
The Lunar Series UK coins are available in different sizes. The Lunar silver coins are available in the sizes 1 oz, 5 oz and 1kg.
The Lunar gold coins come in 1/10 oz, ¼ oz, 1 oz, 5 oz and 1kg sizes, with only the 1 oz coin having been produced in each year from the start of production to the present day.
The Royal Mint started producing the Lunar UK coin series in 2014. This series is inspired by the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar calendar and features a special design that combines traditional British craftsmanship with the beauty of the Chinese zodiac. One side of the coin shows the respective animal of the year. The horse was depicted on the first coin of 2014. On the other side, as on almost all bullion coins of former Commonwealth countries, the portrait of England's Queen Elizabeth II can be seen.
The Lunar series from Great Britain not only delights collectors with its detailed and artistic design, but is also a good investment opportunity. The gold coins and silver coins are produced by the Royal Mint in limited editions, which means they gain in collector value over time. You are guaranteed the price at the time of your order. You will find a summary of your order in your mailbox immediately after placing your order. Also, there is the option to print a summary at the end of the order. We always ask for prompt payment.
After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment. Another mail will be sent to you upon shipment with the shipment number/tracking number. Please check that the shipment is sent directly to you.
Upon receipt of the shipment, check the integrity of the packaging. In case of discrepancies take photos and notify us. The shipment is insured, so you do not bear any risk of loss and theft.
GVS is a global leader in high security storage. If you already have a storage number, you will be asked to specify it before checkout. A new storage contract can also be opened at any time. Silver, Platinum and Palladium can also be stored in a duty-free warehouse. In this case, your purchase is exempt of VAT.
