The Kookaburra silver coin is an Australian bullion coin. It comes from the Perth Mint.
The first Kookaburra silver coin was issued in 1990. Since 1993, the motif has changed annually - which also makes the coin a very popular collector's and gift coin.
The motif side shows the Kookaburra - the largest kingfisher in the world. There are always 1-2 kingfishers depicted in different poses. The silver coin is now available to buy in numerous sizes. From 1 ounce to 1 kilogram.
The trademark of the Kokkaburra is a distinctive voice reminiscent of laughter. There is a legend about it in Aboriginal mythology. According to this legend, the bird is said to laugh loudly at sunrise so that people do not miss the sunrise. The name "Kookaburra" comes from the language of the Australian aborigines.

After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment.
