Seit dem 13. Jahrhundert gibt es in Europa Münzen mit dem Namen Dukaten. In Österreich wurden sie ab dem 16. Jahrhundert geprägt. Heutzutage bezieht sich die Bezeichnung Dukaten in der Regel auf die Nachprägungen der Münze Österreich mit dem Motiv Kaiser Franz Joseph I. und der Jahreszahl 1915, als der historische Dukaten zuletzt geprägt wurde. Die Rückseite der Goldmünze zeigt den Doppeladler der Habsburger. Die Münze wird aus 986er Gold hergestellt. "Dukat" ist ein Gewichtsverhältnis, das aus dem Lateinischen (ducatus) stammt und "Herzogtum" bedeutet. Der 1-fach Dukaten hat einen Durchmesser von 19,75 mm und einen Goldanteil von 3,44 g, während der 4-fach Dukaten einen Durchmesser von 39,5 mm und einen Goldanteil von 13,77 g hat.

You are guaranteed the price at the time of your order. You will find a summary of your order in your mailbox immediately after placing your order. Also, there is the option to print a summary at the end of the order. We always ask for prompt payment.
After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment. Another mail will be sent to you upon shipment with the shipment number/tracking number. Please check that the shipment is sent directly to you.
Upon receipt of the shipment, check the integrity of the packaging. In case of discrepancies take photos and notify us. The shipment is insured, so you do not bear any risk of loss and theft.
