The 20 Dollar Liberty Head gold coins, minted at the United States Mint between 1849 and 1907, represent an era of economic growth and cultural change in America.
These coins bear the distinctive image of Lady Liberty on the obverse. Her majestic profile symbolizes the values of freedom and independence. On the reverse, the majestic bald eagle is displayed on the coat of arms of the United States.
The Liberty Head Eagle is part of a series of American gold coins. The coin was issued in denominations of 2.5 dollars, 5 dollars, 10 dollars, and 20 dollars. Colloquially, these denominations were also referred to, in the same order, as Quarter Eagle, Half Eagle, Eagle, and Double Eagle.
These coins are not only historically valuable but also highly sought-after collectibles and solid gold investments. The numismatic value of the coin is further enhanced by the grading from the esteemed Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and by its high preservation grade of 63/70 on the Sheldon scale.
