1/2 oz Gold Euro of the Federal Republic of Germany
The gold euro was first produced in 2002 for the introduction of the euro currency. The series replaced the popular gold mark. The coins are available in the sizes ¼ ounce, ½ ounce and 1 ounce with denominations of 50 euros, 100 euros and 200 euros. The gold euros are produced in a total of five different mints, which are located in Bavaria, Berlin, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
The motifs embossed on the gold euro coins vary from year to year. Initially, the focus was on motifs relating to the introduction of the euro and the European Monetary Union. From 2003 to 2019, the motifs were dedicated to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Germany. These motifs represent important cultural and historical sites that are recognized worldwide for their cultural or architectural value. Since their introduction to mark the launch of the euro in 2002, gold euro coins have occupied a unique position as collector's items and investment instruments.

You are guaranteed the price at the time of your order. You will find a summary of your order in your mailbox immediately after placing your order. Also, there is the option to print a summary at the end of the order. We always ask for prompt payment.
After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment. Another mail will be sent to you upon shipment with the shipment number/tracking number. Please check that the shipment is sent directly to you.
Upon receipt of the shipment, check the integrity of the packaging. In case of discrepancies take photos and notify us. The shipment is insured, so you do not bear any risk of loss and theft.
GVS is a global leader in high security storage. If you already have a storage number, you will be asked to specify it before checkout. A new storage contract can also be opened at any time. Silver, Platinum and Palladium can also be stored in a duty-free warehouse. In this case, your purchase is exempt of VAT.
